1. Who We Are

Carousel AI Pro is a mobile application developed independently to help Instagram creators generate AI-powered carousel content. The app is available on the Google Play Store.

2. What Data We Collect

The app collects only the information you voluntarily enter:

• Your name and Instagram handle
• Your content niche, target audience, and brand tagline
• Content tone preferences and content pillars
• Carousel drafts and generated slides you choose to save

All of this data is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your brand profile information is used solely to personalise the AI-generated content within the app — specifically to craft prompts sent to the Anthropic AI API on your behalf.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party service:

• Anthropic API — When you generate ideas or carousel slides, your brand niche, tone, and topic are sent to Anthropic's servers to produce AI-generated content. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data: anthropic.com/privacy
• Unsplash — Background images for slides are fetched from Unsplash using a keyword. No personal data is sent. Unsplash's privacy policy: unsplash.com/privacy

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require account registration
• We do not collect email addresses or passwords
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not use advertising networks
• We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone

6. Photo Library Access

The app requests permission to save images to your device's photo library. This permission is only used when you tap "Save to Camera Roll" to export your carousel slides. We do not read or access any existing photos on your device.

7. Data Retention

All data (brand profile, saved drafts, cached ideas) is stored in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage). Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. We have no copy of it.

8. Children's Privacy

Carousel AI Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
